Why the Lion Roars
The lion on the Sylvester coat of arms is passant guardant — walking forward but looking directly at you. That's the posture of this ministry. Moving forward. Eyes open. Not turning away from hard truth, hard questions, or hard conversations about faith, family, and the things we carry.
The Lion's Roar is not a performance. It's a declaration. Every episode starts from the same place: the conviction that God does not require you to be small in order to be faithful, and that the church has spent too long confusing obedience with silence.
"The lion has roared — who will not fear? The Lord GOD has spoken — who can but prophesy?"

This is a ministry for the people who were told to sit down and be quiet. For the kids who asked questions that made Sunday School teachers uncomfortable. For the adults who still carry the weight of family secrets, institutional betrayal, and the particular kind of loneliness that comes from being too smart, too honest, or too broken for the room they were placed in.
The Lion's Roar says: you were not too much. They were not enough.
